Requirement: must be at least a Member of Parliament / congresswoman in their respective countries.
Many a light-hearted survey have been done, including probably the most comprehensive by Spain’s 20 Minutos newspaper earlier this year.
The most stunning beauty-power combination must be that of Yulia Tymoshenko (born 1960), the current Prime Minister of Ukraine. She’s arguably the world’s most beautiful head of the executive, and also famous for her trademark plaited hairstyle.
Alina Kabayeva (born 1983), elected to the Russian Parliament in 2007. She is Russia’s most successful rhythmic gymnast to date, and also one of the most decorated in the history of the sport, with 18 World Championship medals and 2 Olympic medals.
Luciana Milagros Len Romero (born 1979), Congresswoman for Lima, Peru for the 2006-2011 term. Listed no.2 by 20 Minutos newspaper.
Mara “Mara la Bella” Carfagna (born 1975), a lawyer and Italy’s Minister for Equal Opportunities since May 2008. She’s a former model, placed 6th in Miss Italy 1997, TV host, and has posed topless for fashion magazines in the past. After her election in 2006, Berlusconi controversially quipped that he’d marry her if he wasn’t already married, prompting his wife to force him to issue a public apology. Some called her the most beautiful minister in the world and was ranked number one on men’s magazine Maxim’s “The World’s Hottest Politicians”, even though she placed only 4th in 20 Minutos’ list.
Sara Ruiz Chavez (b. 1976), Mexican congresswoman.
Honourable mentions
Anna-Maria Galojan (b.1982), Estonian political scientist, apparently ran for Parliament but lost.
Yuri Fujikawa (b.1980, some say 1982), member of the assembly of Hachinohe City, Aomori prefecture, Japan. She has been called “too beautiful to be a politician.”
Wow, all perfectly groomed aren’t they, with perfect teeth to boot, perhaps they got theirs done at dental implants Plano, Texas?
